Dear Students,
We have just completed our
discussions on "Information Overload & Attention Deficiency". You
have watched various video segments relating to Information Overload and
multi-tasking, which leads to distraction and negative impacts on your
studies/work performance.
You are to reflect on any 2 of these issues:
- Does being constantly online and multi-tasking affect my studies? Explain.
- Do you concur with the research finding that over stimulation of the mind due to constantly online is not good? Explain.
- Are you affected by Game Addition? Share your experience.
- Does Attention Deficiency affect me in my personal life and in my school work? Explain.
- Imagine a day or a period of time when you are cutoff from technology and the internet. Share your thoughts.
-In general, in most cases and at most times, being constantly online does affect studies. People will because of that and hence unable to put full focus and attention on their work. They will be unable to do their work properly and efficiently as they are getting distracted from online platforms such as going to their social media like twitter , instagram, etc which most youngsters are always into almost 24/7 or constantly watching videos from eg: youtube and watching movies online. This will affect their studies in a way that it will decrease the efficiently of getting their work done quick or in the first instance. This is because they might do abit of work then go online then continue back or do halfway then stop and go online till he/she has almost forgotten about their work or what i call multi-tasking which i will talk about it further on later. This will lead to having poor quality of work or causing their work to drag and delay and resulting it in undone or doing it poorly at the last min. Personally to me, all of these that i have mentioned in the above does applies to me. In fact, most of the time. Unless one has self-discipline and control by being able to differenciate when is the time to go online and when is the time to study. One must be able to keep away all distractions and fully focus on their work. You must still be aware of what you are doing and still able to control yourself no matter how addicted you are. Self-discipline is hard to maintain. Even to me i'm still having problem till today and still getting distracted and unable to focus on my studies even if i want to. But i believe self-discipline is still the only and best way to solve this problem.
ReplyDeleteAs for multi-tasking , unlike being constantly online where it affects studies to most but not all and when there are still people being able to focus on their studies without these distractions, i believe that multi-tasking affecting the focus and attention of a certain thing that they are doing applies to all regardless studies or not. This definitely also applies to me in my daily life. Multi-tasking does allows you to do things and work one or more at the same time, but however like what i have all mentioned earlier about constantly online, it does not allows you to put full attention on each task and do them well. By multi-tasking, you are splitting ur mind and attention into each task. When u do a task halfway, and go into another and go back again or vice versa, it will affect the quality of ur work as what u are going to continue might not flow and not getting it done efficiently and fast. You might realise that the quality of the work when doing each task separately is much better than when u are doing the task together with another.
-No I’m not affected by game addiction. In the first place, i am not a person who really like to play games a lot. I rarely or rather hardly. I’m not saying that I do not enjoy games or have never played in my entire life before. I’m not really into games unlike teenagers these days like those ‘real’ addicts or extreme cases where they play hours non-stop, putting their life onto the life, as if they live in the game. They cant stop even when people tell them so or when they know they should. Game addict these days cant diffferenciate between the reality and the virtual world by neglecting their daily lifestyle for games. i do play a variety of different types of games that are to my taste, but not all kinds of games. i used to play a game called blackshot . It was quite popular back then but now not. I played due to influences from my friends. I will not say that i was or never even addicted a a game even once in my whole life. Of course i have and believe everyone has regardless to games or not.
In my opinion, being constantly online and multi-tasking does affect my studies. When you are multi-tasking, you do not pay full attention
ReplyDeleteto whatever you are doing. You will not be able to do your work properly or efficiently. This is because there will be many distractions
when multi-tasking, for example, say you are writing an essay. Firstly, a message pops up and you go and reply it, after replying you may
want to go online and check your social media and then maybe watch a video or two. By the time you go back to your work, you may have
forgotten what you wanted to write and a lot of time was wasted by the distractions. Your essay would not flow smoothly as you may end up
writing something else midway due to forgetting what you wanted to write. Thus I believe it affects my studies.
As these is my first time hearing of this research finding, I may be a little skeptical but I mostly agree that over stimulation of the
mind due to constantly being online is not good. This is because you are exposed to a lot of information at the same time when you are online,
resulting in your brain having to process multiple things at once. This may cause your brain to overwork and lead to a less developed brain.
I used to be addicted to gaming but I have since greatly reduced my game time. I feel, in order to break out of your gaming addiction, you
have to first know that you are addicted just like I knew I was. I then found other things to do with my own initiative like asking my
friends to play basketball with me or go out to have lunch and movies. As much as possible, I try to stay away from my computer. If my friends
are unavailable, I try and find other things to do. Slowly I became less addicted and my urges to keep playing slowly went away. I believe
everyone can stop being a game addict if they try and know they are addicted and take the proper measures to keep themselves off the computer.
Yes, attention deficiency does affect me in my personal life and in my school work. I would occasionally check my phone while doing other
things. Sometimes I may go on to chat with someone before returning to my work. When I am walking, I may look at my phone and not infront
of me.There are also times when I am distracted as a phone call comes in. I believe most teenagers now are affected by this and it
requires a lot of discipline to not be affected by it.
A day without the internet and technology would most likely make me very agitated. Without technology and the internet, I will not be
connected with my friends as well as my family and loved ones. I feel that without technology and internet, my day would become very
boring as there would not be much to do. However, I think that without technology and internet for a longer period of time may be a good
thing. We may learn to appreciate things more as life becomes more slow paced. People would have a set time of day to meet and have fun
together. I think that this would bring back the "kampong spirit" of the past and we would take things slower and life would be much simpler.
- Are you affected by Game Addiction? Share your experience.
ReplyDeleteBasically, games addiction is an excessive or compulsive use of computer games or video games which will interferes with a person’s everyday life. It causes you to lose your daily routine life and getting you attached to this virtual reality. This will affect your daily lifestyle if your world revolve around games. Youths nowadays, especially our generations are spending most of their time on games while neglecting and procrastinating on what is needed to be done.
I am a gamer myself and a few years ago, I’m also facing with this issue. Basically, whenever I have free time, I will just switch on my computer and start playing video games. Which is quite scary when I think about it. I started losing interest in studying and even once thought that I could be a professional gamer. However, I woke up and realize it is best to stay in reality. Games are just a tool for you to escape from the real world, TEMPORARY. People will get addicted to Role Playing Games and will start impersonating characters from a game. It is very important to have video games in our lives as it is a good source of entertainment. We are able to relive some stress and pressure by playing games. However, beware of excessive playing.
- Does being constantly online and multi-tasking affect my studies? Explain.
According to research, humans cannot multi-task. Studies shows that the human brains cannot effectively or efficiently switch between tasks. It takes around four times longer to recognize new things so you’re not saving time. It affects learning as performance degrades and time is lost with every task that is multitasked. Multitasking prevents people from gaining a deep understanding of the information we are trying to learn. Thus we will have a difficult time trying to understand a topic as we constantly allow ourselves to get distracted. Furthermore, being constantly online will always have this temptation. This will lead us to surf the net for around an hour and we will be totally be on another track when we try to get back to the previous stuff that we are trying to complete.
This will affect student studies. Apparently, there is an experiment involving 62 undergraduate students taking a principles or accounting course, half of the cohort was allow to text during the lecture and half had their phones turned off. After the lecture both groups took the same quiz and the students who did not text scored significantly higher on the quiz. Thus I believe that humans are unable to have a constant concentration on multiple things at the same time. We have to focus all our concentration into one thing so that can achieve the result that we want. Students have to really focus in class and try not to be distracted. Being distracted while in a lecture will be a huge loss as your brain is unable to process to their fullest potential. Thus I believe that constantly online and multi-tasking will affect my studies.
Yes. I think that constantly online and multi-tasking affect my studies. This is because being constantly online divert my attention from studies. For example, when I'm at home studying, I would be distracted by my computer and would like to go on social network or play some online games. This would affect my studies as I could not focus on my homework and that would affect my performance in school. Multi-taking would also affect my studies, because when I am multi-tasking I am dividing my attention on several stuff and this is scientifically impossible, I would unknowingly put more focus on stuff that i have more interest about and that would not be studies. For example, when the lecturer is teaching class and the student is on his social network, he would undoubtedly put more focus on his social network. At first, the student would think that he is doing two thing at the same time but when he came back to his sense, he would find out that he is not following the class and that would affect his studies greatly. But multi-tasking might not be a bad thing, this is because if you are able to achieve multi-tasking, it would be good for future uses. So it would be better for us to learn multi-tasking so that it would be beneficial for our future.
ReplyDeleteI could not imagine a day or a period of time when I am cut off from technology and the internet. This is because we are using technology in our everyday life, if there is no technology we would not be able use public transport or have any sort of distance communication. Imagine that you live in the north area and the school you are attending is at the opposite direction of where you live, and you have to go to and from school almost every single day. Lets have another example, imagine you are in a accident and have to call a ambulance and there is no sort of technology to have long distance communication. Believe it or not, technology already have a huge impact on our daily life, we are not able to live without technology anymore. Technology something that we cannot live without, it is the almost as important as our food and drink. Technology also allow use to transfer knowledge or information easily, even school are using technology. We are also always using internet, for social network or online games. Most teenagers are not able to last a day without using the internet and that applies to me as well, surfing the internet has already become a daily routine for me. It would be next to impossible for me to be unable use internet or technology for a day, thus I cannot imagine a day or a period of time when I am cut off from technology and the internet.

Does being constantly online and multi-tasking affect my studies? Explain.
ReplyDeleteYes it does affect our studies. It is scientifically proven that humans are not able to multi-task. When we multi task we are dividing our attention on several activities at a time, it will cause us to be more prone to making careless mistakes. If you realise our attention for each activity will never be equal throughout, we will tend to pay more attention on the the activity that interests us more. In this case, it will be our social networking site rather than our studies. At this rate, we will find it hard to complete our assignments on time and nothing productive is accomplished. When this happens, we will lose out a lot in our studies and might just affect our overall result which is really bad.
Imagine a day or a period of time when you are cutoff from technology and the internet. Share your thoughts.
There was a period of time that I had to be away from technology, looking back at it now it was a truly nice experience. I realize that without my smart phone, I was communicating more with the people around me. Though I got to admit I do lose out at the part that I was not able to catch up with the latest news and such but those are nothing compared to spending a little more time catching up with the people around me. I also find myself participating more in activities, as I was not distracted by any form of distraction such as a whatsapp message coming in or a notification from twitter. It definitely feels weird at first to be cutoff from technology, but at the end of it and reflecting on it now it was a rather refreshing experience.
-Does being constantly online and multi-tasking affect my studies ? Explain.
DeleteBeing constantly online and multi-tasking does affect my studies because humans are not able to multi-task . If we are multi-tasking , we are focusing on different areas instead of only one area . Students most of the time are going to focus either on only studies or both studies and social media . Students will normally find it that social media is more interesting than studies because studies is so "dry" so they will spend more time focusing on social media rather than studies . This will make their results become really bad .
- Imagine a day or a period of time when you are cutoff from technology and the internet. Share your thoughts.
I have not experienced before that i am cut off from technology and internet a day or a period of time . However , i think that if i am cut off from technology and internet , i can focus more on only one area instead of multi-tasking and i think that technology and internet is not as important as how people think it is because there are more important stuffs than technology and internet in life . People living in the 21st century , like me , are relying on the internet too much and they will think that they could not survive by cutting off from technology and internet but , they actually survived till the technology and internet resumes .
-Does being constantly online and multi-tasking affect my studies? Explain.
ReplyDeleteYes. Being constantly online and multi-tasking does affect my studies. Being constantly online will tends to make me not being able to focus on my studies. For example, if there’s a laptop or a phone beside me, I will tend to not being able to focus on my work and starts to surf the internet. The worst scenario is, if one is caught up with being constantly online, one does not know when to stop. Thus, losing focus on what one’s trying to do in the first place. While being multi-tasking makes me more prone to errors. I won’t be able to focus anything to my full capacity. For example, if the teacher is teaching and I’m doing other stuff at the same time, I won’t be able to concentrate on what the teacher is talking about and not being able to do my assignment. I will then tend to have stress and constant panic on what the teacher have said which I didn’t listen. People who multitask are not being productive and thus brings stress to their lives.
-Imagine a day or a period of time when you are cut off from technology and the internet. Share your thoughts?
If there is a day or a period of time when I am cut off from technology and the internet, I will feel lost and don’t know what to do. I will be frustrated at what I would do every day but can’t right now without technology and internet access. Being cut off from technology and internet would prevent me from knowing first hand news from social networks like, Twitter, Facebook which update news every hour. Even though newspaper is issue every day, it does not give me the latest news I want. Also, I won’t be able to obtain information from the internet to do my work. But this could also be a good experience as I could know what it is like to having no technology and internet.
- Does being constantly online and multi-tasking affect my studies? Explain.
ReplyDeleteYes. Being constantly online and multi-tasking may affect my studies negatively. When I’m online I tend to get distracted easily by going on to Twitter and Facebook and watch movies instead of doing my assignments. When we multi-task, we are trying to do multiple things in a finite amount of time, and I often feel amazed by how one is able to do so many things and concentrate on others at the same time. Ironically I often find myself multi-tasking because I feel that I am saving time by doing many things at once as it makes me feel efficient. However, those who engaged heavily in multi-tasking activities are in fact the ones whose results are much worse than those who do not multi-task. This is because those who multi-task have their attention divided and this prevents him or her to concentrate on a particular task and eventually one would not be able to learn anything. Therefore, in my opinion, self-discipline is very important if we are to stay focused on our tasks and not get distracted.
- Imagine a day or a period of time when you are cutoff from technology and the internet. Share your thoughts.
In my opinion, I think that it would be amazing if I could spend a day or two away from any mobile device. To spend a day relaxing talking face-to-face with my friends and family members without the use of any mobile device for a whole day would be a great experience to how life would be without the use of technology, and we would find that we would have a lot of spare time on our hands. As much as I do not want to be using technology everyday, it has become an essential for me because technology has become a part of our lives for almost 24/7, and it is widely considered to be fairly mainstream around the world. Therefore it is hard to actually avoid using technology. We may even be using technology without realizing it, for example, the use of ez-link cards when using public transport systems. As such, many students are sighted to be using their mobile device every day and every moment that ranges from gaming to socializing to educational purposes, and may even feel that it is one necessity that they can’t live without as it keeps us entertained and occupied.
However, a day without technology means that I would not be able to communicate and socialize with my friends nor do my assignments. As the internet is a convenient way for receiving news updates and for research purposes, it would be more tedious to search for information by hand using newspapers and other resources.
Does being constantly online and multi-tasking affect my studies?
ReplyDeleteI think being constantly online and mulit-tasking affect our studies.Because it will waste you a lot of time to surf the internet. Maybe you will be addicted to playing computer games and lose yourself in the virtual world .You will spend too much time on the internet rather than study. It is really bad for you.For example , if you are constantly online ,you will have no time to study and join the activities with your friends ,you will stay up to surf the internet .you will feel very tired on the class .Maybe you will sleep in class .So you can not listen what teacher said ,you will fail the exam.If you spend more time on study and activities .You will have a happy life and do better in your study .

If there is a day or a period of time when i am cut off from technology and the internet .Maybe i will feel boring .Because technology and the internet have played a important part in our life .Just like my notebook and my phone .If i
lose them ,i will feel boring .and it will be not convenient for me .I can not call my friends .I can not chat with my parents or friends on my phone or internet .technology and muliti-tasking make us life become more fast and convenient.
If we lost it .life will become hard .people can not use the internet. many company will close down .Many people will lose their job .People even can not
live without technology and muliti-tasking .So I can not image the life without technology and muliti-tasking.

I feel that being constantly online and multitasking both affect my studies. As being constantly online means that you would receive people’s message and post, etc . Thus this would distract you, as eg. you are studying and suddenly you receive a message , this would thus makes you stop your studying and reply the message . This would also make you go and surf the net and watch a few videos thus you would forget about studying. It would be serve as a major distraction. Thus this would affect your work done and your studies.
ReplyDeleteMultitasking would also affect my studies as it would make you think slower and lesser , as multitasking is dividing your brain into the things you are doing, eg . you are searching the net and doing your work, this would mean that your brain would be divided by 2 thus slowing you down , and you would do badly for both things .

A day or a period cutoff from technology , I feel that it would be tough for a lot of youngster nowadays . I feel that now days people are overusing their technology devices such as computer and handphones. I feel that It is like a routine for them to take out their phone and check them every minute or so. But for me I think it is quite a tough thing for me. I also feel that kids ( age 3- 12 ) nowadays , also are addicted to the technology and internet. I have one cousin age 4 whereby he would use his parents phone everyday and without the phone , he would be insane . Thus I would like to recommend that parents nowadays should “control” their kids on the usage of technology and thus remove them from this technology and internet addiction

Does being constantly online and multi-tasking affect my studies? Explain
ReplyDeleteYes. Being constantly online and multi-tasking does affect my studies. According to my research, it is scientifically proven that humans cannot multi-task. What happens to our brain when we multitask? It actually divides our ability of our brain. For example, if we are doing homework at home while watching TV, listening to music.,surfing social networks. We have a huge tendency to make mistakes in our work. Also, from past experiences, when I try to multi-task by doing my work and watching videos on youtube at the same time. I realise most of my attention are on the videos than actually concentrating on my school work. This not only let us have a huge tendency to make mistakes but also this slows down our school work and even possibly not having enough time to complete our assignment on time. Thus affecting our studies. Being online constantly also affects my study. Because instead of doing our assignment, we procrastinate and we start surfing social network like Youtube,Facebook,Twitter etc. Therefore, This will affect our overall grade. In conclusion, being constantly online and multi-tasking affects my studies.
Imagine a day or a period of time when you are cutoff from technology and the internet. Share your thoughts.
I believe this will be a wonderful experience. Imagine sitting down with your friends or family in a cafĂ© or restaurant with everybody socializing and bonding with one another instead of everybody using their Smartphones. This will also help us concentrate more on our work even more since technology is the main distraction for most of us. However, things wouldn’t be very convenient for us. Because, without our smartphones, we cannot communicate with others easily. For example, facebook, twitter,SMS and email. In conclusion, there are pros and cons to having a period of time when we don’t have technology and internet.
- Do you concur with the research finding that over stimulation of the mind due to constantly online is not good? Explain.
ReplyDeleteI think, like everything else, too much of something is not good. Thus, the research finding that over stimulate the mind might not necessarily be good or bad, but it could possibly be the stretching the mind over constantly by being online, it could get more efficient over time. However, breaks should be advised as it could turn into a harm for unnecessarily long time being online.
- Imagine a day or a period of time when you are cut-off from technology and the internet. Share your thoughts.
I think if I were to be cut-off from technology, I would feel like a present time “caveman”. As we are so accustomed to technology being right at our fingertips, not being able to receive or send the latest information in an instant will cause us to be frustrated. As Technological advancement has allowed us to “telepathically” speak to our friend without directly communicating face to face. However, It would be a refreshing sight, as we are so used to looking at what’s on our screens, we miss the bigger picture that what’s happening around us.
Does being constantly online and multi-tasking affect my studies? Explain.
ReplyDelete- Yes, it does affect my studies and ability to focus when i multi-task. I often get whatsapp text, the thing about it, is that when your phone ring and/or vibrate, you are curious who have text you and what they got to share with you. This lead you to stop what you are doing and to check your phone. In return, distracting your focus on the things needed to be done. Your train of thoughts will be broken too. Affecting the quality of the work.
Do you concur with the research finding that over stimulation of the mind due to constantly online is not good? Explain.
- Yes, over stimulation of the mind due to constantly online could lead to mental issues. Example, you are meeting your deadline of a online project and you are researching on a certain Topic online, you are bombarded with too much information that you can't seems to filter. Leading you to be aggressive.
Extras:
Are you affected by Game Addition? Share your experience.
- Yes, in the past. I often went home straight after School or even skipped School, just to play a game called "MapleStory". The trills of levelling up / gaining experience points just make me hook to the game affecting my sleep cycle and eating habits. I barely have enough energy for the next day, but the trills of the game keep me awake. I went on like this for about 3 months, until I stopped when my grades and attendances shown to be below average resulting my parents being inform by the school. It affected my health and I often exhibit impulsive behaviour when a minor mistake is made.
Qns: Does being constantly online and multi-tasking affect my studies? Explain.
ReplyDeleteAns: As what the video that we watch in class has highlighted, human are not “made to be multitask”, not like computers. Being always multitasking will slow down the processing speed of our brain, even though we might not notice it. Being constantly online is also another issue. When students go online, it can be because of studies or project which requires them to do research, it also can be the temptation to login to social media. For example, the temptation of looking at what your friend had commented on your states that you just posted a while ago on facebook is a temptation. These temptation can sometimes affect our studies very badly. While we are doing our work, we keep on checking updates on these social media, then we always end up writing paragraphs instead of essays. This is why our thoughts always cannot flow fluently. When a person is doing this, he is not only multitasking, but also constantly online. With that, my answer to this question is definitely yes, constantly online and multitasking does affect my studies.
Qns: Are you affected by Game Addition? Share your experience.
Ans: I was a very serious gamer when I was young, at a age of 15 to 18. I have to admit that at that time, I was very addicted to online gaming. Basically the very first thing I do when I reach home after school is to turn on my computer. This situation was very until I was in secondary 3. My grades from mostly all As drop to F. that was the time when my mum was very upset and disappointed. Luckily, the situations did not continue its way. I manage to overcome my temptation to play online games as time goes by. Now I do not play computer games very often. Better more, I usually do not turn on my home computer during weekdays, even I am released from school. I do not know what makes me change, but its just the feeling that online games are not so attractive to me anymore after many year of playing them. I felt fortunate to be realising this.
- Does being constantly online and multi-tasking affect my studies?
ReplyDeleteI believe it will affect my studies. Being constantly online for example during lesson you are also online which causes you to looking at your laptop/handphones instead of listening to what the lecturer is teaching, this causes you to miss a certain part of the lecture which will affect your studies. As for multi-tasking it will also affect your studies. In the same case as being online constantly in a lecture you will have to multi-task using your laptop/handphones at the same time listening to the lecture. Or you might be at home doing your homework and talking to a friend through online chat or handphones will affect you in forgetting what you done till on your homework. This causes time for you to track back what have you done and wasting time which might make you not enough time to hand in your homework in time or rushing through it and writting wrong answers. In conclusion both being constantly online and multi-tasking will affect anyone studies.
- Imagine a day or a period of time when you are cutoff from technology and the internet.
5 years back I was a hardcore gamer which need to be online almost 24 hours a day and which out technology it would be like hardcore smokers not smoking for a day or more. But I have never imagine a day cutoff from technology or the internet before. If I would have imagine 5 years back it would be very suffering from cutting my off technology and the internet Now it would be easy for me to imagine that as I have been through national service. I have been totally cutoff from technology and internet during my basic military training(BMT) period in national serivce. It's actually not as bad as what most people will think of. But if you are someone that couldn't live without technology for 1 or 2 days it would be very suffering.
By being constantly being online in social media platforms and multi-tasking will affect my studies. This temptation of the social webpages such as facebook and twitter is one of the main reason in affecting my studies. Posting what i'm doing on social media, interacting with friends online. This creates a great distraction that prevents me from studying.
ReplyDeleteI agree that being constantly online affects the mind. Research findings has shown that it prevents us from making good decision. This is a crucial problem as a wrong decision can lead to devastating consequences. The mental strain also causes constant stress and anxiety. This causes a degraded work performance. It also causes a person to lose focus and lead to them not being able to think deeply and clearly.
I am personally affected by game addiction. I usually play games up to more than 5 hours in a single gaming session. In the whole day, i can roughly game about 12 hours. Normally at the end of the day, i will feel very tired and unfocused.
Yes. Being constantly online on social media, focusing on my school work takes up alot of attention. As we are all connected into the online world, it is easy for us to share things online and what we are doing now. This disturbs me from my school work, which results in a decrease in grade. When i solely focus on school work alone, i feel that i am not social, while being online will affect my studies.
If there is a cutoff from technology and internet, i feel that i will not be able to play my favourite games and post the things i like onto the social webpages. I will feel very bored.
- Are you affected by Game Addition? Share your experience.
ReplyDeleteTo a certain extend yes I am affected by Game Addiction. Talking about game addiction, I remember there was a period of time where I totally do not want to go away from home to school or anywhere. I just want to stay at home and play games all day all night long. But I don't consider myself affected by it seriously is because I can easily grow tired of a game that I am playing for nearly 24/7 and starting to play the game lesser and lesser but at the mean time I will still be on the search for new game that I have yet to try. Once I found 1, if it suits me, my addiction for the game will be back thus this is a cycle in my life that I have yet to resolve. The longest period I am stuck in a game should be during my sec 2 period, where there is a FPS game published by Asiasoft called " Sudden Attack SEA". I played the game for more than 2 years reaching 1 of the higher ranks the feeling is so good as people will normally reconise you as "pro" due to your rank. But I slowly grew tired of it as the content was the same throughout the 2 years and no new game modes were introduced thus I slowly faded away till now ,I havent played once.
- Imagine a day or a period of time when your are cut off from technoloy and the internet share your thoughts?
In this cyber generation, no one could imagine a day or even a hour without internet or technology, because we are too used to it to the extend that we rely on them in our daily lives and having most of our entertainment revolves around it. If I am to be affected by it, I will probably be lying on my bed all day day-dreaming about how awesome is it to have internet or technology as I lived with them since young, and I used them almost every second. Without them, my life in this period will be very meaningless and boring as there is precisely nothing much I can do. BUT without them, we can actually bring alot of happiness and things we lost due to relying too much on them back out alive. Such as sitting down in a cafe to chat, write a letter and take it to the post box, playing games such as chess, monopoly. This are the experience that has long been lost in this generation, it would be wonderful if this kind of atmosphere and environment could be revived.
