  1. The pros of the GPS service is that we are able to find out how to get to certain locations when we are lost. The cons are that it can be used to track us giving us little to no privacy.

Yes. They infringe on our right to be left alone. They know where we are at any time of the day which we may not want others to know.

No. I do not think it is right to infringe on a person's privacy. Whatever the person does in his own time and at his own leisure should not be known to others. It is what he does when he is alone and its his business. We have no rights to find out what he does.

  2. 1. Discuss the pros and cons of the GPS service.

The pros of GPS will be, it can used to help to track their own location for any purposes, to know the location of places conveniently, to be able to find the location easily and it able to help to get your way out even you had lost your way (if you need to do so) and GPS are able to track/ locate the exact location of the misplaced phones or even stolen phone for iPhone or may be on an Android phone.

The cons of GPS, GPS may give inaccurate location of any particular location or even using GPS, it able to let people make use or take advantages of using it to know other's people location for "stalking" purposes which it is a dangerous act as others may know their location without their knowing and followed their movements if they know their exact location.

    2. Do the services provided by the company infringe any privacy issues? If yes, what are the privacy issues?

Yes. By giving the company your own personal particulars such as full name, addresses or phone number etc., it is actually a form of infringing of privacy and also invading of our own freedom or personal life which we may have been watched or being monitored and for those particulars given from the customer/consumer, those information are stored/recorded into their own company's databases to be kept as a record.

    3. Do you think it is right to infringe on a person’s privacy? Explain your answer.

No, it is not right to infringe someone's privacy. Everyone has their own private life to lead with and most of us needs our own free time where we can spend it alone and I believe most of us do not want others to know what we are doing. By intruding their personal life, I felt that it is also invading their freedom. I believe that everyone has their own right to be left alone without intruder intruding or invading their own personal space.

2)Yes. People are giving them their personal information, but they are selling out to let other people stalk them. It invade on one's freedom and can't do their things freely as and when they want.

3)No. Nobody likes having their privacy being stalked by someone. Everyone has their own rights to be alone, no one is to intrude on one's privacy without asking.

  6. 1. Discuss the pros and cons of the GPS service.

PROS : GPS units provide you with a simple way of getting to your location . Establishing your coordinates with a GPS is simpler than trying to determine where you are with a map . With the use of GPS service , u will not be easily lost in a deserted place .
CONS : Since GPS devices rely on satellites, they are not perfectly suited to outdoor use . Interference from dense foliage , caves and deep slot canyons can cut communication off when you need it most . Like any electronic device , GPS units are subject to failure from dead batteries . While you can limit the chances of this happening by carrying spare batteries , it is a concern .

    2. Do the services provided by the company infringe any privacy issues? If yes, what are the privacy issues?

Yes , it is because we are giving the company our own particulars about where we stay , our contact numbers and etc . It is very dangerous as they might leak your particulars to other people whom we do not know who they are . Actually , it is already counted as infringing onto our privacy as we may be stalked by strangers because they have our particulars and if they leaked to other people , we are in a dangerous zone . This means that we have no privacy at all as people have been stalking us . We must be careful of giving out our particulars to company or people whom we do not know .

    3. Do you think it is right to infringe on a person’s privacy? Explain your answer.

No , i do not think that it is right to infringe on a person's privacy as everyone has the right to privatize their own things , particulars and time . Each and everyone of us definitely have some time that they like to be alone and do not want people to disturb them . They have their own freedom to do their own things and do not want people to judge them for whatever they do . People tend to unknowingly infringe on other people's privacy as they will like to ask people this and that question and those questions are private stuffs .

  7. 1. Discuss the pros and cons of the GPS service.
Pros - Global Positioning Systems allow us to utilize triangulation of satellites to give a simple way of getting our location. Much easier than trying to pinpoint our location on a physical map. It also provides gps device with navigation to a preset location.

Cons - Global Positioning Systems rely on satellites and are not suited for indoor uses. Interference from high buildings, thick walls, pillars, and reflective material can cause the GPS to lose its connectivity from the satellite or base station and throw off the location bearings causing it to be inaccurate.

    2. Do the services provided by the company infringe any privacy issues? If yes, what are the privacy issues?
Yes. As we provide our geolocation all the time to these companies we subscribe to, to provide our location in real time, it’s hard to know whether these companies will sell us out to private companies to let other people, or our government for that matter to spy on each and every one of us. Maybe the ‘crazy’ conspiracy theorist with the tinfoil hats were right, the government really had the bigger brother looking over our shoulders 24/7.

    3. Do you think it is right to infringe on a person’s privacy? Explain your answer.
No It is wrong, no matter what people will want to keep some things private and out of public eyes to see.

  9. - The pros of GPS service is that we would be able to reach the destination of the place we wanted to go without being lost or going the wrong direction, we would also be able to seek help by letting other people knowing our location. The cons of GPS is that people would be able to track us without asking for our consent and our privacy are being intruded without us knowing it.

    - Yes. As we provide our personal information to them. E.g. phone number, location, email address and etc. They have all the information about us and they may be using it without us knowing.

    - No. Everyone have their own secret that they don't want their people to know and that is privacy. By infringing on a person's privacy it like exposing other people secret and giving out their personal information to the whole world.

  10. 1. Discuss the pros and cons of the GPS service.
    Advantage of GPS services.
-Using the GPS service in smartphone will definitely help in directing your way when you are lost.
-Can make use of the GPS service to track your lost electronic device is you have on it.
    - Easily know your current location, or your destination, without having to ask around.
    - Unfortunately if you are caught in danger and was trying to seek help, GPS will help the rescue team with your current location so that they can take action as soon as possible.

    Disadvantage of GPS services.
-Strangers can track you with your GPS services without you knowing.
-If you are being tracked by someone who has some kind of intention/purpose, you may put yourself in a very dangerous position.
    -Expose of privacy.

    2. Do the services provided by the company infringe any privacy issues? If yes, what are the privacy issues?
Some services provided by the company ask for our current locations, which in a way might be infringing our privacy. However the company gave users a choice if they want to reveal their location or not by prompting the user a window. If a person choose to reveal their location, the choice is made by the user, we cannot blame the company of infringing the user’s privacy. Furthermore, companies like google, will have the privacy & terms policy which promise that they will not reveal any of the user’s personal information in any forms without the user knowing. Thus I feel that the services provide by the company do not infringe any privacy issues if they have obey the rules.

    3. Do you think it is right to infringe on a person’s privacy? Explain your answer.
It is definitely not right to infringe on a person’s privacy in any form, regardless of what the outcome of the action will be. I believe that everyone is equal, the person has the right to keep his privacy to himself. Even if revealing his privacy will benefits the majority, he do have the responsibility to sacrifice himself to save the others. It is all about his own choice whether to be sacrificed or not, not being forced to, or even his choice is not taken into consideration.

Yes, the company infringe our privacy. The service provider have our real-time location which sometimes we might prefer no one knowing where exactly at certain time of a day. And such companies can sell our information to others to earn money which can be very dangerous to us.

Of course it is wrong. Everyone that is born to this world have their own privacy and freedom. Everyone needs them be it boy, girl, man, woman, celebrities, workers, slaves etc etc.. Everyone needs their own privacy, when a person prefer to keep in a low profile, it proofs that that person wants to have some private time alone or doing stuffs he/she enjoys. 12. The pros of GPS is that it allows you to determine the exact position of a person or an object at that specific location. It also allows you to help you track a specific location and bring you to that destination through guidance of the map. The cons is that it reveals the location of wherever a person or an object is at and if your GPS is activated , you can be easily tracked of where you are hence provides ease to people who wants to track you down.

yes. By giving out private information and personal particulars such as full name, addresses , email addresses, accounts information , etc, our privacy has already been infringed, invaded and intruded. This could be very dangerous as our information can get leaked out or get sell to others. This might lead to people stalking us in every means relating to spams and so on . People might also steal and get hold of certain confidential account information and use it. This can also lead to unforeseen circumstances. We will then lose the freedom
to our own space and our own form of privacy as we will feel very uneasy as people might also use our personal information to do havoic . We will be in deep danger as we will not know what might happen. We will then have
to be very cautious of every action we do such as leaking information.

No. Everyone has the right to their own personal space, the rights to be left alone , the right for you to do things or seclude oneself or information about yourself , and not having others to know about it.
